TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I selected a set of well made, strong cast iron gates and railings from an extensive range offered by Heritage Cast Iron in Poynton.
These were supplied protectively painted and expertly fitted with electronic operation over a year ago and the quality and efficiency of the product remains superb.
It follows that a recommendation is easy to state.

When struggling to find a contractor locally who would provide a bespoke, quite complicated arrangement for the front of my property in a conservation area, I was advised by a garden designer to contact Tony Boswell at Heritage Cast Iron.
Well the stress factor faded away instantly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble including a hinged section in the middle of the cellar handrail allowing access to the gas meter.
Design of railings, profiles of handrails, posts, gate, finish, etc were all discussed over the phone and finished recommendations sent by email. The gate I loved was far too tall for the design so it was shortened. The whole project turned from being monumentally difficult to being simple. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing was impossible. The men came down to fit the railings staying overnight locally and returned for a final finish the following week. The job was completed on time and within budget – truly remarkable. I smile every time I see the finished product.
